HFR and Tempo Works partner on commercial flooring automation
A flooring robot needs a prepared floor. Our partnership with Tempo Works connects two jobs that already depend on each other.
Tempo Works builds autonomous robots for concrete grinding and surface preparation. At Human Friendly Robotics, we design and build Tyler for the next stage: placing finished flooring alongside an installation crew. Getting those stages to work together matters as much as automating either one.
We will explore projects together and share what our teams learn on jobsites, with contractors and manufacturers involved in the work. The aim is practical: improve the handoff between preparation and installation, and find where both robots can be useful on the same project. This is a collaboration to develop those workflows, with each company bringing its own equipment and experience.
